A real novelty in Schotten Totten 2, the asymmetry can change the feeling of the game. Indeed, the conditions of victory are now different on both sides of the wall. Only the attacker can claim a tile, the defender has only one option to prevent it. And if the defender has three cauldrons of boiling oil allowing him to discard an opponent's card, attacking him has the possibility of retreating to certain tiles in order to later come back in force. In short, 2 very distinct roles each having its own objective and offering very different playing sensations!
Tactics and boiling oil
Schotten Totten 2 obviously uses the mechanics of its illustrious elder, that is to say, laying cards to obtain the majority in specific areas. Each card combination allows you to claim superiority on the wall, but be careful: here too, everything changes!
Indeed, each wall is now specific and the players are therefore imposed constraints of pose to obtain the majority! A subtlety which adds a lot of variety to the game and multiplies the possible approaches. This contribution therefore forces the attacker to make more marked choices depending on the cards he has in his hand.
The attacker wins if he manages to damage 4 Walls, or breach a damaged tile.
More playful, more catchy, and still as intense!
Reinforced by its new asymmetric dimension, Schotten Totten 2 offers a much denser game that naturally invites you to play a series of games by alternating roles. More tactical and more intense, it invites confrontations of a new kind while remaining true to its illustrious heritage.
