Founded in Paris in 1957 by Léo Jahiel, Heller quickly became a pioneer in plastic scale models in France.

Production moved to Trun (Normandy, France) in 1963, launching an enduring tradition of diverse model kits: aircraft, ships, cars, motorcycles, military vehicles…

Over the years, Heller has created more than 1,500 moulds and offered a very wide range of kits - from simple ones for beginners to large, highly detailed models like historic ships or detailed airplanes.

Since 2019, the brand is owned by Glow2B, continuing production in the original facilities to preserve Heller’s heritage in the scale-modelling world.

Heller caters to both newcomers and seasoned modellers, offering kits in various scales (1/400, 1/125, 1/72, 1/35, etc.) and across many themes: aviation, naval, cars, figurines, dioramas and more.

Recently, Heller has adopted more sustainable practices: since 2023 all kits are manufactured using recycled plastic, packaging avoids plastic bags, and old moulds are carefully refurbished — a commitment to durability and environmental responsibility.
