AuZtralia takes place in alternate 1930s where humanity, finally freed from the yoke of the Old Ones, discovers Australia… and its dark inhabitants! This game is the thematic sequel to A Study In Emerald by Martin Wallace.
From your port on the Australian coast, you will build a railway line inland to mine and establish farms.
Your Player Board represents the resources and military units in your port.
Everything you do in the game costs time.
You become the active player when your disk is in the lowest space of the Time Track.
You then take one of the cubes from your HQ and place it in one of the Action Boxes on your Player Board and take the corresponding action.
Eventually, the Old Ones will awaken and move across the map, wreaking havoc and destruction. You will need to attack them before they attack your property.
The game ends when everyone has spent a certain amount of Time Points (or a port has been destroyed).
The winner will be the player with the most victory points… and it might be the Old Ones!
