Invazions is an asymmetrical confrontation game.
One player will embody human resistance, while all other players will cooperate and play hordes of zombies.
The mechanics and objectives are different depending on the side.
In improvised labs, the human player performs genetic experiments on captured zombies in order to discover a cure; its objective is to defend these labs long enough by managing its resources and the human survivors at its disposal (resource management mechanics).
For their part, the zombies organize themselves to attack human refuges, destroy research labs and save their captive companions, recruiting increasingly powerful zombies in their horde (deckbuilding mechanic).
Which of the two sides will have the best tactic to make their species prevail?
