The flat surface of the bristles of the brush allows a certain resistance when puncturing as well as a complete interlacing of the fibers of the application with those of the base fabric.

What is a hushed application?
This is a technique for making applications where wire and glue are not needed.
Place the appliqué on the base fabric and carefully perforate using the needle felting tool. the fibers intertwine and unite the application to the base fabric, embellishing it.
